Vehicle crashes into LCBO store in Kitchener

Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate after a car crashed into a liquor store at a busy Kitchener plaza.

WRPS say it happened Wednesday morning around 10 a.m. at the LCBO on Ira Needles Boulevard. 

Police say a vehicle crashed into the store's front window and it was smoking after the impact.

The Kitchener Fire Department was called to the scene, and the driver was taken to hospital.

There's no word on injuries, what caused the crash, or when the LCBO will reopen.
